Paper Showcase Contest Entry Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.

2. PARTICIPATION CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF RULES AND DECISIONS, CONSENT TO USE AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS. By entering this giveaway, each participant warrants that he or she has read and agrees to abide by all giveaway rules and that he or she is not prohibited from participating in the giveaway. Participation in this giveaway constitutes participant’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of PaperDirect, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “PaperDirect”), its parents, affiliates, employees and agents, which are final, binding and non-negotiable in all respect. Each participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless PaperDirect and its parents, affiliates, shareholders, employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers from any liability arising from or related to the giveaway, including without limitation, (a) unauthorized human intervention in the giveaway; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; and (e) claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Further, participants fully and unconditionally release all claims for consideration, copyright infringement and all other claims of any nature relating to the use of their entry, name or likeness.

3. ELIGIBILITY. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age and older. Proof of age and identity must be furnished upon request. Employees, agents, independent dealers and affiliates of PaperDirect and its agents, affiliates and immediate family members of all such persons, are not eligible to participate in this giveaway. PaperDirect reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, suspend, or amend this giveaway at any time for any reason. PaperDirect further reserves the right to amend these giveaway rules at any time without prior notice, at its sole discretion. PaperDirect reserves the right to disqualify any participant for any reason, including, but not limited to, violation of these Official Rules, copyright infringement or infringement of the rights of a third-party.

4. TO ENTER. This giveaway will run on or about September 10, 2012 through October 10, 2012. To enter this giveaway, participants are asked to: (i) navigate to the following website of PaperDirect www.paperdirect.com/blog/papershowcase (the “Website”); (ii) create a unique design or multiple designs; and (iii) submit the artwork or design as instructed by PaperDirect (“Eligible Entries”) to be eligible to win. Each participant may submit multiple designs and by submitting an entry participants agree to abide by these Official Rules. Persons submitting incomplete entries or entries under false pretenses will be disqualified. PaperDirect is not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind. PaperDirect is not responsible for any lost or misdirected mail sent by participant or PaperDirect.

Participant’s submission signifies agreement by participant to grant PaperDirect an exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable, perpetual license to alter, modify, publicly display participant’s entry and/or incorporate the design entry into any future products without any monetary compensation. Participant further certifies that the entry submitted does not contain any trademarks, logos, copyrighted material, or other intellectual property belonging to any third party and that individual(s) depicted in any submissions have given their consent for the entry to be submitted. PaperDirect reserves the right to disqualify any entry which PaperDirect, in its sole discretion, determines to be offensive, illegal, in violation of any privacy or other third party rights or for any other reason.

Participant must warrant and represent that he/she: (i) is the author of the design used in the entry and (ii) that he/she hereby grants permission to PaperDirect to alter, publish or use the entry in any media worldwide. By entering, participant also agree that PaperDirect may publish participant’s name and entry on PaperDirect’s website, or in such other media or formats as PaperDirect may elect without further compensation. By entering, participant also agrees to confirm any of the above in writing upon request by PaperDirect.

5. PRIZES. There will be one (1) potential winner chosen in the sole discretion of an internal panel of judges at PaperDirect from all Eligible Entries on or about the week of October 22, 2012. The criteria that PaperDirect’s internal panel of judges will use in selecting the winner will include, but is not limited to: 1) the creativity of the participant’s design entry; and 2) the entirety of the participant’s entry form. The winner will receive a 50-count box of Haunted Cemetery Casual invitations with envelopes, SKU: SEC5772E.

The retail value of the prize is $22.99 and odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received. For example, if PaperDirect receives 1,000 Eligible Entries, your chances of winning will be 1 in 1,000.

The winner is responsible for any taxes or other costs and expenses not listed above. All decisions of PaperDirect and the judge panel in this giveaway are final, binding and non-negotiable. No prize may be transferred or substituted for its cash value.

6. IDENTIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNER. PaperDirect will notify the potential winner by telephone and/or email address at the information on file for the winner on or about the week of October 22, 2012. If PaperDirect is unable to make contact with the winner within seven (7) days after selecting the winner, or if the winner fails to claim the prize in accordance with these Official Rules, the winner forfeits the prize. To accept and receive the prize, the winner must: a) provide a high resolution image (300 dpi or better) of their winning submission; b) sign and return to PaperDirect a copy of these Official Rules; c) sign a form provided by PaperDirect releasing PaperDirect from all claims; and d) execute a Copyright Release Form and any other documents specified by PaperDirect in their sole discretion by the deadlines specified.

The winner’s name may be posted at www.paperdirect.com as well as the PaperDirect blogs, Twitter and Facebook pages.

By entering this giveaway, participants consent to PaperDirect’s use of their name, likeness, image and biographical data for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. BECAUSE PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM PARTICIPANTS WILL BE COLLECTED BY ENTERING THIS GIVEAWAY, PARTICIPANTS SHOULD REVIEW PaperDirect’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at www.paperdirect.com By entering this giveaway, participant authorizes PaperDirect to contact participant for commercial purposes via fax, telephone, or e-mail address listed on the participant’s entry form. There will be no use of participants name or other personal information for future commercial purposes except as in accordance with PaperDirect’s privacy policy. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without giving effect to conflicts of law rules.
