6-9 Months:- Refine guest list & choose maid of honor, best man, attendants
- Reserve Florist, photographer, transportation & order wedding cake
- Shop for wedding dress
- Plan Honeymoon
4-6 Months:- Shop for wedding rings
- Finalize the guest list & Send “Save the Date” cards
- Choose wedding invitations, reception cards, programs
- Check with your state for marriage license and blood test requirements
2-4 Months:- Set your rehearsal/rehearsal dinner date, book venue
- Plan the bachelor/bachelorette parties!
6-8 Weeks:- Mail the invitations
- Set appointments with hairdresser/makeup consultant
- Prepare a wedding announcement for the local newspaper
4-6 Weeks:- Select your wedding day & reception accessories & music
- Fit attire for bridesmaids’ and groomsmen
- Select the music
2-4 Weeks:- Obtain your marriage license and any required blood tests.
1 Week:- Finalize reception seating arrangements & head count to caterer, write place cards
